Sunday, July 03, 2011- St Birinus Pilgrimage
This annual pilgrimage from Churn Knob (near Blewbury) to Dorchester on Thames follows the footsteps of St Birinus who brought Christianity to this part of England in 634. Picnic lunch at 12.15pm and walk starts at 1.00pm.
A number of parishisioners from St Michael's have participated in this 12 mile walk over recent years. Shorter walks are possible. For full details look at the pilgrimage website at www.stbirinuspilgrimage.org.uk.
